Job Description
Our client is currently recruiting for the position of QA/QC Verification Team Lead, based in Aberdeenshire Responsibilities will include: Verification Ensure verification and well examination system procedures and processes are in place, are effective and maintained Provision of specialist verification and well examination support to the Operated Assets, Major Projects, Modifications and Drilling groups Management (owner) of the Verification, Well Examination and H2S management verification contracts Provision of verification awareness training to relevant personnel within the organisation including key contractors Continuous improvement activities including the support of OIAS by undertaking audits and reviews Engage in networking with key industry work groups/bodies including Oil & Gas UK / Step Change / Verification Network Carry out regular installation site visits to liaise with offshore personnel QA/QC Initiate and perform internal/external audits in accordance with agreed audit schedule and carry out detailed technical reviews on behalf of Business Units in order to facilitate improvements. Provide technical support and assist with contract ITT preparation and QA evaluations on behalf of Business Units. Coordinate the inspection of new and repair equipment inspections and provide inspection status reports of all equipment on a regular basis. Ensure that the transfer of wells records from D & C to Operations in accordance with handover procedure and that the ICP and Well Examiner are satisfied that the performance standards have been met prior to producing the well. Qualifications / Training Degree Qualified or equivalent in an Engineering Discipline - preferred Qualified auditor / CSWIP senior inspector or similar Skills & Experience Extensive experience in a similar role with an operator. Ability/Confidence to deal effectively with all levels of staff within the Corporation Coaching skills. Strong problem solving skills are a must to separate symptoms from underlying problems Excellent interpersonal skills are required in order to communicate effectively to all parties Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise workload in the face of competing user demands Ability to work independently in a team environment Subject Matter Expert in verification / quality matters Relevant experience in offshore/onshore support role would be beneficial to the position Experience of Project and Change Management is essential Ability to operate within the strategic, tactical and operational levels of an organisation and exert a proportionate level of influence.
